Hey, it’s all ATHF all the time here at OB1og.

Well, just because I haven’t posted in a while and it is easy to catch up on this fashizzle, so you have the two previous below and tonight’s here.

Check this one out. Not hilarious, but not bad either. I think they are going up and down on each one. Read what you want in to that.

Cartoon Network’s animated series Aqua Teen Hunger Force will be the first original show of the channel’s late-night Adult Swim programming block to be turned into a feature film, Variety reported. The 86-minute film was written, produced and directed by co-creators Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis.

The film centers on the origins of Hunger Force characters Meatwad, Frylock and Master Shake and an immortal piece of exercise equipment threatening the balance of galactic peace, the trade paper reported. “It was too big a story to do in 11 minutes,” Willis told Variety. “It’s based on our fear of exercise equipment.”

Maiellaro and Willis will be voicing several parts each, and several members of the TV cast will be reprising their roles. The film also features cameo voices provided by Bruce Campbell and Neil Peart of the band Rush. It is set for a March release date in 800 theaters.

Yeah, Ed reported to me that he heard it sucked and that’s why it has been delayed until then, I think it was supposed to be out by now.

It’s funny how Variety is reporting this as if it is a new film announcement. It has been wrapped for several months now and has already played at some film fests – where it got the bad buzz. The reviews I read were from die-hard fans of the show. Given what Sean has reported on this season’s questionable quality – it’s not surprising that they can’t swing 86 minutes of continuous comedy. Bruce Campbell’s evil Chicken McNugget is supposed to be the highlight – but he isn’t in it very much.
