No More Heroes
I am done. I am out. No more Heroes!
Of course, since Heroes is my favorite new show of this season, I am talking strictly in the blog sense and not in the viewing sense.
You see, I wasn’t kidding in my last post about Heroes that if commentsations weren’t going to happen, then I wasn’t going to continue posting. While I enjoy writing about the episodes, it does take a fair amount of time away from trolling match.com to craft each post, so I am going to abandon posting about it.
I am not into writing this stuff because I wannabe famous or an armchair critic. I was hoping it served as a watercooler substitute since peeps can’t talk this stuff up like we used to due to the ever growing needs of being a growned up and/or parent. Fostering a little corner of the Interwebs for you to post your thoughts, questions or answers about shows we share in common was a good idea in theory, but like Scooby Speak, not so much in practice.
So, from now on, I’m just gonna post quick hits like I do ATHF, but skip any analysis or deep thought on it. I know you guys read the posts, or at least click on the links, and I appreciate that. I also know that you can’t always post a comment due to when you might read said post, so again, I understand that is why commentsation may not happen that often.
Anyway, that’s why I haven’t posted about “Six Months Ago” or “Fallout” since they have aired. Both were good episodes and I very much enjoyed them. “Six Months Ago” gave us the origin of Sylar, but no explanation as to how Papa Suresh has been tracking down the gifted nor why Sylar suddenly cracked and became a killer. He didn’t seem that unstable when we first meet him in his shop.
I thought “Fallout” in particular was a well crafted mid-season cliffhanger. Peter has a vision of being the destroyer of NYC (they already have a Chapter 12 web comic up with him now in a coma), HRG is erasing knowledge of Claire and it extends to his own family, but the Haitian has another agenda (from where now?) and Eden bites it while trying to off Sylar (but the Chapter 11 web comic shows she takes her own life to prevent him from taking her “gift”).
I can’t wait for it to start back up again. Probably more so than than Lost.

Sorry for the late reply.
I thought Fallout was a much better episode than Homecoming – and I agree that it was a nice cliffhanger (on many fronts). In addition to Peter’s vision, we had the Hatian apparently working off his own agenda – which I thought was one of the big turning points in the ep.
Also – loved Hiro viewing that pic of his T-Rex battle.
“Ive got to find that sword.”
Also – I echo you Comments on “Where is everybody?” We know others tha watch this show but too often it’s like we’re back in high school. A few actively participate while the rest listen and hope they aren’t called upon.

Yeah, I totally forgot about the big dino painting. That is a boss quote!
As far as comments go, like I was trying to get across in my posting is that I am happy people read, even if they don’t comment and I’ll still write about the show, just in a different way.
