Another one
Well, I only had one taker again this year and it was the same person as last year. So, I went ahead and put in the same donation as last year as well.
I don’t know if I can blame this on a short notice with my posting or the fact that no one seems to be reading the OB1og much these days. I’m sure this is my fault for being lazy over the Summer and I suppose also because when I do write, it isn’t of much interest to more than a few people. I’m fine with that by the way.
I’ll be optimistic and say I’ll get three people next year!

…or the fact that all of us parents of 2 children with one income are just trying to make ends meet man. Ya’ gotta aim for the well-employed single types to get people to match your charitable donations. Me – I gotta’ wait a few years for the kids to get in school, the wife to grab a 9-5 and then we’ll see about matching your challenge.

Hmm… I wonder if I wasn’t clear on the message. I was saying I’d match people’s donations, not the other way around. I don’t expect that anyone should match me and I certainly don’t expect that everyone can/could/would/should donate. Not like I am calling out anyone that didn’t donate. The fact that I have inspired one person to donate these last two years is… wait for it… awesome! š
