Two two nine nine nine
Thus stands my Gamerscore. A not so nice and round number no thanks to a couple Xbox Live Arcade games that give out weird number achievements like 4, 6 and 7, etc. Can we keep to 5 as the smallest and go in increments from there please?
Currently enjoying Lego Batman. Those that say it is not much of a leap from Lego Star Wars or Indiana Jones are very mistaken. I found a lot of innovation and change in this game. The puzzles are super easy, it starts at a 10+ age rating, but they are definitely different. The one knock is no Xbox Live co-op, especially with a co-op achievement in the mix. That means I am going to have to work two controllers at once to get it.
It appears I will have no trouble getting to my 24k goal for the end of the year. You know, unless both Xboxes RROD on me.

I’ve decided that when I hit 30K I’m going to dial down my Achievement-whoring ways. Like we’ve said often, getting those that are attainable or don’t require too much of a time sink is one thing – but some of these are insane.
I think that ‘999 is awesome by the way. Imagine when you get to 29999. You might never want that extra point.

I think we’ve done much better with the whoring. In fact, I’d say that’s the case since we gave up on that Marvel game. Certainly there are some ridiculous ones in the recent Too Human that we don’t want to touch, no matter how much we both liked the game. I think with your score, you don’t always have a choice because of your Avault reviews, but that said, you could have whored those up for more points and you didn’t. I can’t say the same for Iron Man, but that was more me not wanting a game to beat me.
As for the nines, that looks cool I guess, but I like round numbers. Right now, it reminds me of how much I hate the penny…
