Telefizzled w.10
What happened to week 9? Did you even notice? This here is a two-for-one. Actually, it is probably more like a one-and-a-half-for-one. It would seem that after viewing three shows last night, I am already done for this week, so let’s get it over with!
Chuck (w.9): What’s better than Kate Austen crawling thru HVAC ducts? Sarah Walker crawling thru HVAC ducts. Well, it was what I thought of as it happened. Anyway, this one features the ex getting jealous of Chuck and Sarah. Oh and then kidnapped and rescued. But then she steals Chuck away for a weekend and Casey and Sarah find out she’s an evil spy. And let me continue this on to last night’s episode where…
Chuck (w.10): …they make her not evil, but then evil, but not evil, but then evil again. I’m not sure if she does or does not dig on Chuck now. Whatever, she was captured by Chuck in the end, her guest stint is done and I will surely miss the hot brunette in glasses thing that I seem to dig on. I may take Ed’s advice and sit thru The Faculty for the heckuvit. Maybe it can be streamed via Netflix to my Xbox now. Anyway, I want to call out the fact that there has been too much cleavage and bra…um…age on the show this year. Seems like every episode this season we seem to get Sarah or Ellie bending over with a tank top on or Sarah or Jill in their bra or Sarah in her underwears in the shower with Chuck washing off Kool-Aid or… what was I talking about again? Oh yeah, that this is my favorite show and I hope it doesn’t get cancelled.
Big Bang (w.9): Leonard hooks up with the big girl from Popular — I know this yet I never watched that show — after she has a bad date with one of his nerd herd. (I really never watched it.) The other nerds and Penny watch in glee? (Except for the one that lost out.) First one this year that wasn’t great. (I think.)
Big Bang (w.10): Leonard continues relationship and this pleases Sheldon so much he helps out. Some Facebook jokes here that I don’t get because I’m not on Facebook. “Digital livestock” seem funny. This one was good, so I am glad this relationship isn’t dragging the show down. Sheldon questioning Penny about her cycle, for the second time I can remember, is especially funny.
HIMYM (w.9): Something about Barney getting Ted a job and then screwing him over for another architect because they want to build a Godzilla building and Barney will have the office in the head which shoots flame when he pushes a button on his desk? Is that right? I’m really asking because I don’t know if I remember everything…
HIMYM (w.10): The Naked Man! First, I have now seen way too much of Neil Patrick Harris below the belt. Second, this one was actually decent. If only their episodes were good for two out of three times…
Eli Stone: Everything from here on is w.9. So since this is now cancelled, I debated if I should bother watching it or not. I decided to watch it last night so I could bang this out today. Anyway, I am bummed that it is cancelled and I guess I will watch the rest of the run. I’m guessing they don’t have the chance to close it out properly, which is too bad. In fact, I wish they didn’t renew for this year now because last year’s ender would have worked out just fine. I wonder why this doesn’t do better. My guess is the Eli is a prophet and higher power is driving everything angle. This is too bad because if I can get past it, shouldn’t anyone? Hmm… maybe not if you are a person of faith. Anyway, the lawyer stuff is actually pretty good, but then maybe it is also because there are too many lawyer shows on. I’ll miss this one, but not a lot. I guess I’ll just miss Julie Gonzalo.
Smallville: Doomsday crashes the wedding and steals the bride. He brings her back to the Brainiac corrupted Fortress. Why? Well, I guess we have to wait until end of January to find that out. You ask me, kinda stupid, but maybe Brainiac needs back in Chloe’s head. Oh, Lana shows up to make Clark a little loopy and Lois a little jealous. After all, Lois and Clark nearly locked lips before she showed up at the wedding. Finally, we get the sense that Lana is working for someone, but who? Lex or Lionel are my guess. Both seem ridiculous, but we see who we assume is Lex at the end. Unfortunately, Doomsday is mostly in shadows and dark, so no real good look at him yet. Oh, and the setup/filming in what I am guessing is a Cloverfield style was ridiculous.
The Office: Mess in the microwave. Meh. Jim brings Pam to the clown house. Meh. No, this one is all about Toby being back to drive Michael insane. I like it when Michael is tormented. In fact, I love it. Keep that bastard unhappy at all times, it is funnier. And, even though I don’t like it when he is insensitive, because it makes me feel awkward, more of that too. Aren’t we supposed to hate this guy? More laughing at the jackass buying $500 salad!
30 Rock: Steve Martin was good. The stuff with Tracy Morgan’s sex doll was good. Reprieve earned for another show. Oh, and just because it was a topic above, I have noticed a lot of Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) cleavage this year too. What’s up with that?
Finally, we have The Hills. I watch FOUR last week. That show is so ridiculous. I am going to keep watching.

You know what – as long as you keep pulling a Peter Pan and watching The Hills, I am ging to continue to refrain from commenting on these posts. D’oh! OK – starting next week.
As for The Faculty – it’s actually a pretty enjoyable, fun flick so don’t make it seem like torture to watch it.
