Spring one
Here is the first set from a beautiful Spring day walk around the city on Saturday, April 25th. These are timely photos people! Are you excited?
You should be. I am. So open the post and scroll down for the slide show. Ignore all the words!
Anyway, I started in Post Office Square since that’s where I decided to park and start the trek. I had to make sure I got some shots of the insane amount of tulips that get laid out in the planters around the Bank of America office building just next to the square. That said, the sun was hiding behind the building by the time I got into town, so they mostly came out dark. I threw in about three. More to come later from another day.
Anyway, the trek continued up to Boston Common and up thru Beacon Hill [last year] and then down to the Boston Public Garden [last year]. A weird route, but it worked out well for light. That’s where the first part ends and it was basically the reverse order of what I did last year (two posts are linked earlier in paragraph). Next set will include Commonwealth Ave and the Charles River.

Beautiful shots!! I especially like the photo of the red tulips peaking through the fence.

@Noelle: Thanks, that one is my desktop background right now. It is probably the best shot I got that day.
