Happy blue year
Well, I started the year with a sunset, so why not end the year with a moonrise. What? Yeah, I guess it kind of works out. (Unlike any of those resolutions.)
I was lucky enough to be driving over the NY border into CT as it was rising, so I stopped to take a few photos. “Lucky” because once I got back to Boston tonight it was overcast and you couldn’t see it at all.
Anyway, the point of this post is more or less just to point out that we are ending this decade with a Blue Moon and not just a Full Moon. I am prescribing this celestial event to have more meaning for us all, so hopefully good things for everyone in the coming year. This past year had way too much bad mojo spread around and I’m sure you’d agree.
Specifically for this little non-facebooks powered corner of the internets; good things are on the horizon. I plan to have my annual lists of consumables up over the next two months and am likely going to toss in one or two decade lists as well. I should also have a short Flixd post that wraps up November and December. (I didn’t do much movie watching.) I’m sure it will die back down again as it seems most communication happens via the facebooks these days.
So, maybe you’ll look forward to that. Or maybe not. But in either case, here’s to hoping you have a better 2010 than your 2009.

Love the shots. Me being on the CT border, we had some brilliant looks at that Blue Moon when I was heading out to drop the kids at their babysitters for the evening but you did an awesome job capturing something that only comes around once in a… well, you get the idea.
And here’s hoping that good mojo gets spread everywhere.
